Local author Dawn McIntyre’s new novel, The Paper Pirate, will be released on November 8, 2022. In this cozy mystery, five book store owners are harassed by a couple who are after a very valuable book that the shopkeepers don’t even realize is on their shelves. When the store and then their homes are broken into, it’s up to them to figure out what’s going on before someone gets hurt. The small-town setting was inspired by Hawley, PA.
Join us for the launch of The Paper Pirate, November 12, 2022 from 5-7 pm at the Hawley Library. Enjoy a reading by the author, participate in a game or two and sample the light refreshments. A book lover’s gift bag (contents pictured below) will be raffled off, proceeds benefiting the Hawley Library. Raffle tickets will be available prior to the event, but you must be there to win. The author will also donate a portion of her sales to the library. Hope to see you there!
